In the Jia Wu Xun (甲午旬), Xin (辛) is hidden. Xu (戌) is the dog, and Wu (午) is the horse. Therefore, the classical verse says 'Yi meets dog and horse.' This means when Heavenly Stem Yi (乙) lands on Earthly Stem Ji (己) or Xin (辛), and that palace happens to be where the current Xun head's hidden stem resides, then Yi Qi De Shi is formed. The key to forming this pattern lies in the 'Xun head' (旬首). If Yi (乙) is above Ji (己) but it's not the Jia Xu Xun, it is merely considered 'Day Qi Entering Fog' (日奇入雾). If Yi (乙) is above Xin (辛) but it's not the Jia Wu Xun, it is 'Green Dragon Escaping' (青龙逃走). The auspiciousness and inauspiciousness are vastly different, so it is crucial to verify the Xun head when interpreting this formation. Yi Qi De Shi is a top auspicious formation, indicating receiving assignments and support from noble people, acting with legitimate authority, possessing gentleness with nobility, and achieving success in most endeavors. If it also receives the assistance of the three auspicious gates (Kai, Xiu, Sheng) and auspicious stars, there will be joy in career, marriage, and wealth. Precautions: If Yi Qi enters a tomb (入墓) or falls into a void (空亡) palace, the power of De Shi is greatly reduced, and slow progress is advisable. If it encounters Men Po (门迫) or Ji Xing (击刑), obstacles will arise amidst the good fortune, and success will be fraught with twists and turns; it is advisable to stabilize internal affairs before pursuing external matters. When applied, the direction of the palace where Yi Qi lands can be taken as an auspicious direction for travel and undertakings, leveraging its momentum.
Actions are taken with formal authorization from superiors or noble persons. Promotions and transfers are legitimate. It is advisable to actively accept assigned tasks and participate in selection interviews. When truly in De Shi, job seekers often receive recommendations; it is advisable to follow the flow and not to leave the platform to start one's own business at this time.
There is support from noble persons in financial matters. Suitable for agency, entrusted management, and profit-sharing businesses. Doing things for others can bring profit. Regular income is stable, and speculative income can also be obtained in small amounts. However, if Yi falls into a tomb, void, or exhausted palace, income will be slow; it is advisable to adhere to agreements and collect payments step by step.
Relationships are facilitated by elders or friends; introduced relationships are better than chance encounters. Marriage is legitimate and easily gains approval from both families. For married couples, mutual respect prevails; it is advisable to use family gatherings and celebrations to enhance affection, and interactions should not be secretive.
For illness, there is a good doctor to trust. Meeting the right doctor leads to quick results. It is advisable to seek medical advice through recommendations and follow doctor's orders for recuperation. When Wood Qi is effective, liver, gallbladder, and emotional disorders are easily treated. Submitting documents and procedures according to rules will be smooth. If it is actually the inauspicious manifestation of Yi (乙) above Xin (辛), beware of agents causing problems.
