"Calamity Sha is fierce and valiant in nature, usually dwelling in front of Robbery Sha and breaking through the power of the General Star, hence the name Calamity Sha. This Sha governs bloodshed and violent death: with water and fire one must guard against burning and drowning; from metal and wood one must beware of blows and blades; from earth one must beware of falls and collapses; it also signifies pestilence attacking the body. It is greatly inauspicious, yet if aided by benefic spirits it can often turn into martial authority. Like Robbery Sha, it is best when controlled and transformed by Officer stars and Seals, and when located in places of birth and prosperity."

General Characteristics

Calamity Sha, also called White Tiger Sha, is bold and fiercely resolute in nature. It often resides in front of Robbery Sha and is able to break the power of the General Star. This Sha presides over bloodshed and sudden death, bringing all kinds of unexpected disasters: risk of burning and drowning from fire and water; injuries from blows, sticks and blades from metal and wood; danger of falling and being crushed from earth; and harm from epidemics attacking the body. Those whose charts contain Calamity Sha tend to be brave and decisive in character, but are more prone to sudden accidents.

Practical Effects

Although Calamity Sha is an inauspicious star, under certain conditions it can be transformed from misfortune into blessing. If assisted by benefic spirits, it can often be converted into martial power and authority. Like Robbery Sha, it needs to see Officer stars and Seals that can control and transform it, and it is more favorable when located in places of birth and prosperity.
