"As for the Study Hall, it is like a person reading books in a school. As for Ci Guan, it is like the present official Hanlin Academy; hence it is called Ci Guan, taking the meaning that learning is specialized and writings are outstanding. Changsheng is the proper position of the Study Hall. For example, for a Metal life seeing Xin-Si: Metal’s Changsheng is in Si, and the Na Yin of Xin-Si also belongs to Metal; this is what it means.
